Steil Kranarbeiten Signs Order for Demag AC 1000-9 All Terrain Crane

ZWEIBRÜCKENAugust 9, 2017 – Trier-based Steil Kranarbeiten is adding a 1,200 tonne capacity Demag AC 1000-9 all terrain crane to their fleet. The nine-axle crane will be delivered in October 2017.

Like no other crane in its class, the AC 1000-9 combines power with compactness, which makes it very versatile. And the optional 100-meter main boom allows us to realize challenging job sites like high rise wind turbine erection,” explains Birgit Steil, managing director for Steil Kranarbeiten.

She adds: “Moreover, we know that we can rely on the Demag service support – they always have a solution ready for us. This was a very important point when we took our decision.”

Steve Filipov, President of Terex Cranes, said: “Steil Kranarbeiten has been a valued customer for many years, if not decades. We are proud to serve them and to witness that Demag and quality are synonyms for our customers."
