MEDIACO Expands Fleet with
Addition of 25 NEW Demag® ALL TERRAIN Cranes
ZWEIBRÜCKEN, March 17 2017 – In a substantial fleet expansion, leading French crane provider, Mediaco, has ordered 25 new Demag® all terrain cranes: 20 AC 55-3, two AC 100-4, two AC 160-5 and one AC 130-5. The new cranes will join a fleet of more than 600 machines.

Mediaco’s new Demag AC 55-3 all terrain cranes have recently been added to the Demag product offering and feature the latest industry advancements to increase productivity and reduce operating costs. The cranes have an automated counterweight rigging system for easy and fast setup, a one-engine concept that minimizes operational and maintenance costs and the IC-1 Plus control system that calculates lifting capacities for every position of the crane’s boom subject to the slewing angle of the superstructure. These innovations help make the Demag 3-axle cranes a one-person operation.
“Our ambition is to regain our leadership in the French crane market.” says Steve Filipov, president of Terex Cranes. “And if you want to be the N°1 in France, you have to sell to the N°1 French rental company. We are proud to have our Demag cranes back in Mediaco’s fleet. ” he adds.
The 25 new Demag all terrain cranes are expected to join Mediaco’s fleet between July 2017 and February 2018.
