Wiesbauer Receives Fifth Terex® AC 700 All Terrain Crane
ZWEIBRÜCKEN, November 15th, 2015 – The people at Wiesbauer swear by the quality of Terex® AC 700 all-terrain cranes: In October 2015, the company received a new, fully equipped unit of this model – the fifth in its fleet to date: “As far as we’re concerned, there’s no other model on the market that compares to it – the AC 700 is tremendously easy to transport, set up, and operate, and is simply a cut above any other crane in its capacity class,” General Manager Thomas Wiesbauer says when summarizing the crane’s key advantages. He also has praise for the lightweight components, as they enable his company not only to achieve short setup times, but also to use a small, and therefore cost-effective, assist crane. In addition, the AC 700 has an excellent resale value, which is another selling point for the company – in the end, it was able to trade in an all terrain crane of the same model from 2007 for its latest acquisition without a problem.
“When it comes to such a good and longtime customer, we are more than glad to deliver a crane on-site upon request,” reports Heribert Bussmann, Vice President of Terex Cranes EMEAR, who officially handed over the AC 700 to Thomas Wiesbauer at Wiesbauer’s headquarters in Bietigheim-Bissingen. During the handover, Bussmann was accompanied by Carsten von der Geest, Vice President of Sales & Customer Support; Matthias Mayer, Senior Sales Manager for Germany; and Sales Manager Michael Zieger.
The AC 700 has successfully taken care of its first projects already: Immediately after the handover, the crane traveled to a large work site in order to help set up a tower crane and then to a nuclear power plant to perform assembly work. Moreover, the machine was able to show off its versatility during these tasks already: “We really appreciate this crane’s flexibility. Thanks to its large capacity range of 400 to 700 tonnes, we can use it to set up cranes and to take care of nuclear power plant, concrete, and bridge construction work,” explains Thomas Wiesbauer. And his customers know this too, which is why they explicitly ask for the AC 700 for many projects.
