TEREX CRANES opens new product support location and appoints sales & support Leader for south east asia

Singapore, April 7, 2014 – In 2013, Terex Cranes announced a new regional-based organization approach to improve customer responsiveness and become easier to do business with for customers and distributors. Building from last year’s objective, Terex Cranes is placing a special emphasis on Customer Support for 2014. As part of this strategy, Terex Cranes announces the appointment of Bradley M. Abrahams, Sales and Customer Support Leader, South East Asia, and the opening of a new product support location in Singapore.

New Segment Leader For Sales And Customer Support

With the objective of becoming easier to do business with and being closer to customers, Terex Cranes announced in 2013 a transition towards a regional based organization. The new structure gives our customers the opportunity to contact dedicated local team members to assist with both the purchase and the support for all the product lines from Terex Cranes. As an integral part of this strategy, Terex Cranes is pleased to announce that Bradley M. Abrahams has been appointed as, Sales and Customer Support Leader, South East Asia.

“Having had experience in leading customer responsive teams in overseas branches, I am confident that with the team and resources we have in South East Asia, we will be able to deliver first class responsiveness,” said Abrahams.

Abrahams has extensive experience in the construction equipment industry and in developing overseas branches. Among other positions, Abrahams worked as Sales Director for Terex Aerial Work Platforms and General Manager for Terex Equipment Middle East between 2006 and 2010.

New Customer Support Location

Marked by a distributor conference for the 11 Terex Cranes distributors representing 10 countries in South East Asia, Terex Cranes announces the opening of a new customer support location in Singapore.

The newly inaugurated Product Support location is led by Bradley M. Abrahams and was created specifically to support Terex Cranes Distributors and key customers in the South East Asia Region.

Singapore’s product support center counts with a dedicated, highly experienced and diverse team of service technicians with the objective of proactively approaching distributors in the region & support them with training, technical support and parts fulfillment for the whole Terex Cranes product range. With a diverse cultural and product background, the recently assembled team totals more than 40 years of experience in the crane industry, and includes team members with experience in diverse aspects of the crane industry and geographies.

Located strategically in the southwestern area of Singapore, close to some of the largest lifting contractors in Asia and Singapore’s future new port location, Terex Cranes shares the facility with three other Terex business segments: Aerial Work Platforms, Construction and Material Handling and Port Solutions. This not only allows Terex to be more responsive to customers, but also leverages the capabilities across business segments.
