Terex Cranes Expands DAS Otomotiv Distribution Territory to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan & Turkmenistan

Istanbul, Turkey, December 2013 – Headquartered in Istanbul, DAS Otomotiv has been a Terex Cranes authorized distributor for Turkey for more than 16 years. In December 2013, Terex Cranes expanded the distribution territory of DAS Otomotive to include representation of sales and service for all Terex Cranes product lines in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. The new distribution agreement was formalized at an event attended by Kerim Basakinci, President of DAS Otomotiv and Harry Bussmann, Vice President & General Manager of Terex Cranes EMEAR.

Beginning with the sale of diesel engines, compressors, drilling rigs and graders, DAS Otomotiv has successfully adapted to regional economic growth by diversifying its business over the years, most recently offering the full range of Terex Cranes products. As Kerim Basakinci explained, “Our success has grown with the ability to combine a broad selection of some of today’s best machines with responsive professional service, even in remote regions where quality products and specialized knowledge are poor or non-existent.”
