TEREX CRANES DELIVERS TEN RTGs TO OPERATE IN XIAMEN, CHINA
Zweibruecken, Germany, September 26th, 2011 – Terex Cranes has just delivered ten Rubber Tired Gantry cranes, ordered by COSCO Pacific Limited and state-owned Xiamen Haicang Investment Company, to operate in the Xiamen Ocean Gate Container Terminal Co. Ltd. based in Xiamen, China.
The ten Terex® RTG cranes were ordered, as part of a larger twenty units RTG for phase 1 port terminal contract, to serve the increasing TEU volumes in Xiamen area generated by the rapid development of China’s booming economy.

About Terex® Rubber Tired Gantry Cranes (RTG)
Offering 5-high in first row stacking height and 6 + 1 stacking width, these 8-wheeled RTG models provide a maximum under spreader capacity of 40.5 tons and span of 23.47 meters. Hoist speeds range from 23 to 52 meters/minute and gantry speeds from 30 to 90 meters/minute, Trolley speed is 70 meters/minute.
