Terex Cranes to be PRESENT AT THE 2011 CICA Conference in australiA

ZWEIBRÜCKEN, September 8th, 2011 – Terex Cranes will be taking part in the annual CICA (The Crane Industry Council of Australia) Conference and Exhibition on September 14–16 at the Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort and Spa in South East Queensland. This is the only event in Australia in which the country’s entire crane industry is represented.

The conference’s participants will also include industry representatives from abroad, such as Klaus Meissner, Director of Product Integrity and Product Safety Coordination at Terex Cranes, who will be participating in the Manufacturers’ Panel. In addition, Thorsten Helwes, Project Development Manager at Terex Cranes, will be giving a presentation on the subject of “Challenges in Design of All-Terrain Cranes.”

The conference will be rounded off by an exhibition, an event during which various industry awards (including the CICA Lift of the Year Awards) will be presented, and a gala dinner.
