Terex Cranes TO SHOWCASE NEW TEREX® CHALLENGER 3160
AT MAXPO 11, FINLAND
Zweibruecken, September 7th, 2011 – Terex Cranes will be showcasing the new Terex® Challenger 3160 all terrain crane at Maxpo 11, to be held from 8th to 10th September at Hyvinkää Airfield, near Helsinki, Finland.
With more than 11.300 visitors in 2009, and attended by professionals from all sectors of the construction industry, Maxpo 11 is the 14th edition of Finland’s largest international tradeshow dedicated to construction and industrial material handling machinery. Due to its increasing success, this year’s event will again take place at the Hyvinkää airfield.
The Terex Cranes team looks forward to meeting customers and visitors on booth n° B50.
About the Terex® Challenger 3160 (product video also available)
Compact and powerful, the new Terex Challenger 3160 is the only 3-axle, 55-tonne capacity class machine currently available that is designed for one-man operation. Offering a maximum lifting capacity of 35.6-tonnes at 4-meter radius, and equipped with a 50-meter, single cylinder telescopic boom, the new Terex Challenger 3160 provides self-contained, one-man operation within 12-tonne axle-load limitations. In countries where axle load limits are 10-tonnes, the crane can de-rig its own counterweight to reduce weight to less than 30 tonnes.
