NEW Terex® Roadmaster 8000 Truck Mounted Crane

The latest 100-tonne addition to the Terex Cranes range, the Roadmaster 8000 truck mounted crane is designed to offer low total cost of ownership in a wide variety of applications, useable as a “one-man” crane. Utilizing an innovative superstructure design and an outrigger frame concept developed by company engineers at the Terex Cranes facility in Montceau-les-Mines, France, the Roadmaster 8000 uses a commercial 5-axle truck carrier built by reputable truck manufacturers. Its innovative design offers best-in-class lifting capacity. The crane features two main boom options with 59.4 or 50 m boom length, and a maximum system length of 81.7 m or 77 m respectively. Its YX-type outriggers provide excellent stability. Efficient and simple to use by one crane operator, the new Roadmaster 8000 is capable of lifting a high load, already in roadable configuration without the need for additional transport. Both simple and versatile, the new truck mounted crane is a taxi crane, ideal for crane rigging, residential construction, equipment placement and for rental companies.

New Terex® AC 100/4L All Terrain Crane

Seen for the first time at Bauma in April this year, and produced at the Terex Cranes facility in Zweibrücken - Germany, the new AC 100/4L is the most compact and powerful all terrain crane in its class. Featuring a 59.4 meter main boom and a variable extension system capable of reaching an impressive 81.7 meter maximum system length, the AC 100/4L provides outstanding performance and fast rigging times. Designed for flexibility in a wide range of applications, its compact size and 2.55 meter standard truck width make the AC 100/4L ideal for jobs on sites where working space is restricted and often only accessible by smaller, less powerful machines. As powerful as it is versatile, the AC 100/4L has the largest operating range of any other all terrain crane in its class and provides exceptional lifting capacity within a 12-tonne axle load configuration.

Cabs

The Terex® Roadmaster 8000 and AC 100/4L also feature the latest in cab design-innovation. Based on a series of interactive workshops with customers, the new Terex Cranes cab concept offers an appealing, streamlined exterior design and completely new working environment to match customers' demands for comfort, productivity and safety. The carrier cab of the Roadmaster 8000 features the commercial truck cab of our prestigious suppliers.
